Equinox Evolution, the boutique event exclusively for leading architectural, design, and specification industry professionals to explore innovative designs and technologies within the construction and building industry.

Join us at the Education Hub for our Formal CPD sessions, featuring presentations dedicated to thought leadership, innovation, and new age thinking. Each presentation is valid for one Formal CPD point, and runs for 60 minutes including Q&A. All presentations have been assessed to ensure compliance to legislative requirements for classification of Formal CPD. All attendees will be issued with a personalised Formal CPD Certificate by Wednesday, 5th May 2021.

  3. Design/create door openings to properly influence hardware decisions.
  4. Understand door and hardware schedules and services available for project tendering and documentation.

Polycarbonate Glazing: Harness natural light to improve building performance and human health by Danpal Light Architecture

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Understand the benefits of natural lighting in building design to improve human health and performance
  2. Review differences between natural light and artificial light
  3. Solar Radiation and application to building design and NCC requirements
  4. Understand the properties of polycarbonates as glazing to control solar radiation and promote natural lighting

The Fundamentals of Acoustics by Autex Acoustics

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Identify how we perceive sound and how this influences the various rating options we use to define acoustic performance
  2. Evaluate the Impacts on the performance that different finish will have on the acoustic performance of internal spaces interrupt the data sets in relation to absorption material and how its performance is measured
  3. Identify the various common types of absorption in a space and how they influence the acoustics of a space
  4. Identify and apply the relevant performance requirements and standards for reverberation and noise levels
