Join us at Bargoonga Nganjin, North Fitzroy Library for our Food-Know-How Sustainability Education Sessions. This is a partnership with the experts from Food-Know-How.

The average household in Australia throws away $2000 worth of food every year. That means that one out of five bags of shopping that is purchased is never eaten. Learn some simple ways to reduce food waste which save time and money.

Thursday June 18th - Plan Buy Cook presents: Winter Warming Soups
PlanBuyCook founders Jen and Gaby will show you how to make tasty winter warming soups that won’t break the budget or produce food waste. Join us for this great lunchtime session.

“Food Know How aims to boost the community’s knowledge about getting the most out of fresh food, avoiding waste and saving money through smart food planning, shopping and storage.

It also shows how you can recycle leftovers in compost bins and worm farms, either at home, at your business or at local compost hubs.”

Bookings are essential. There is no need to being a physical ticket with you to this event.
