Healthway and LiveLighter ® Present:

Food Environments – Local, National and Global Perspectives

This seminar will be run within the 2-day LiveLighter® PD Forum, allowing people to join the forum for this special session on food environments and addressing the commercial determinants of healthy nutrition.

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS:

Kirsten Corben from VicHealth will present on strategies to decrease the availability of sugary drinks in healthcare and community settings.

Dr Kathy Chapman will present on children’s exposure to junk food marketing and actions that can be taken at the local level.

Professor Rob Moodie from the University of Melbourne will present on how supranational corporations are affecting our health.

CHAIR: Maurice Swanson, National Heart Foundation and LiveLighter®

The session will commence at 11:00am followed by a light lunch served from 1:10pm - 1:50pm.

There is free street parking available. If you are planning to use public transport, the centre is located 1.5km (20 min walk) from Glendalough train station.

If you have already registered for the 2 day Live Lighter forum it is not neccessary to register for this seminar.
