Take a look around a new resident-built garden in Melbourne’s north - it's a place for everyone to get involved in growing local food, socialise with others and learn new gardening skills.

Fawkner Food Bowls is leading the regeneration of a disused bowling green at the Fawkner Bowls Club into a garden - and it’s still a work in progress, so we'd love to get more people involved!

The garden is opening on Sunday 20 May, with:

• Various kids activities

• Ask the gardener

• Barefoot Bowls

• Live music by Vardos

• Info on how to get involved

The launch is a celebration of what’s been achieved so far in the garden and an opportunity to share with you what we hope to achieve in the future. We'd love to see you there.
