FOLK Book Sales (First and Third Friday each month) at Kingston Library

Come in on the 1st and 3rd Friday of the month for the Friends of the Library Kingston (FOLK) Book Sale.

No bookings required, just come along between 9:30am and 12noon.

Lots of wonderful books for you to choose from, in great condition and at seriously bargain basement prices! Pick up a great read for the weekend!

Cash and EFTPOS sales are available for FOLK Book Sales.

FOLK is a non-profit organisation run by volunteers for the benefit of Kingston Library.

Proceeds from events run by FOLK are contributed directly to the Library, enabling us to offer an extended variety of services and activities to patron. This can include author talks, children's school holiday activities, and materials to support craft activities.

Please note FOLK does not run a book sale during January.

Parking: 

• Maximum 2 hour stay at the library 

• Parking in Channel Court shopping complex is maximum 3 hours. 

To ensure a successful event, please: 

• Let us know if you can’t attend so we can give your place to someone else 

• Don't attend if you are unwell 

• Follow hygiene practices eg. hand sanitising 

• Let us know if you have any support needs or if a support person will be coming with you. 

Accessibility: 

• 2 permit mobility parking spaces next to the library - 2 hour parking limits 

• Level access, automatic entrance doors, wide doorways and aisles for wheelchairs 

• Accessible toilet with a change table for children 

• Parenting room in Channel Court shopping centre next to the library
