Folk Art Birds

FOLK ART is the traditional style of art in EL SALVADOR, a Central American country. Many paintings, ceramics, wood carvings and textiles have been made by artists trained in the mountainous northern town of La Palma. Fernando Llort is one artist that is well-known

for his role in creating the El Salvador folk art style. The art combines lines and shapes along with bright colours and features animals such as birds, rabbits and turtles as well as other things from everyday life, like flowers, trees and houses.
