WELLNESS IN IBS
A double session designed to teach you to identify your IBS food triggers and learn gut-directed hypnotherapy for the management of IBS symptoms.
You will be guided through the stepwise FODMAP process by Lifestyle Nutrition’s chief Accredited Practising Dietitian Melinda Braithwaite APD.
Melinda will:
• Lead you through the 3 FODMAP phases.
• Communicate the key issues encountered throughout the FODMAP diet, such as ‘FODMAP stacking’ and ‘FODMAP reintroduction’.
•Direct you to useful gut health and FODMAP nutrition resources to support you on your FODMAP journey.
The second part of the seminar will be more ‘hands-on’, where Hyofocus’ IBS & anxiety specialist Hypnotherapist Georgina Mitchell will:
•Show you the gut-directed hypnosis research and supporting evidence
•Explore the effectiveness of hypnotherapy in IBS on the mind gut relationship.
•Demonstrate self-hypnosis for ongoing gut-health and stress management.
•Provide techniques for interrupting the patterns of stress and anxiety
•Conduct a group hypnosis demonstration
