Event description

Description

The Australian Apprenticeships and Traineeships Information Service (AATIS) are running focus groups as part of a research project into the platforms and mechanisms that young people and their influencers use to access careers information.

These sessions are for influencers: this can include parents and friends, career advisers, teachers, or anyone else that works with or discusses career information with young people (under 25 years old).

  • Sessions will run for 1.5 to 2 hours. If you would like to attend but need to leave early please let us know before the session.

  • You will be asked to share your personal experiences and opinions with the group. Discussions must be kept respectful.

  • Topics for discussion may include: where you go to find information about careers (including education and employment); where you think young people may go to access the same information; and what the risks and benefits are of these varying methods.

  • Even if you participated in one of our surveys, we would love for you to come to a focus group!

Morning tea will be provided as part of the session. If you have any food allergies or intolerances, please note this on the registration form.

If you would like more information, or if you would like to attend a session but can't make either of these times, please contact Peta at peta@aatis.com.au or call 1800 338 022.
