Focus Group - Foster 21st century learners
Thu. 20 October 2016, 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm AEDT
STEAM Education Australia specialises in enabling 21st century learning and fostering lifelong learners.
We have developed a learning model and toolkit that enables teachers to improve student engagement and thinking processes ( critical and creative thinking ). The learning model is built on the foundation of Dr Bronwen Wade-Leeuwen's research outcome in creative education and using ARTS to connect STEM,
We are also developing an app to assess and benchmark 21st century skill (Critical and creative thinking, critical thinking, collaboration and intercultural).
Purpose of the focus group:
- Understand school's need in context to future learning
- Share and explore the best way to support teachers to foster lifelong learners
- Verify if STEAM approach and learning model will benefit schools.
