What you'll do

Are you looking for fun things to do in Perth? Or do you want to make a piece of functional art for yourself or someone special this Christmas? Come and learn different acrylic pour painting techniques and enjoy a fun few hours full of colour and creation in this Perth workshop!

Working with colours of your choosing, you'll learn how to mix and pour paint to get amazing effects. You will learn four fluid art techniques and create a unique clock in the process. The fluid art techniques you will learn are the strainer pour, swipe, tree ring and dutch pour. You will be taught the four techniques on canvas before choosing which technique you'd like to do on your very own clock.

This workshop is for all skill levels, and you don't need any prior knowledge. All you need is a willingness to get messy and have some fun!

Please note: Due to the paint technique, the artwork will be ready two week after the workshop, so you won't be able to take them with you on the day. The canvases will be varnished to protect the art and give it some shine, and the clocks will be coated with resin before a silent mechanism is attached. We will arrange delivery (within the Perth metro area only) or will arrange postage at no extra cost to you.

Knowledge Required

No prior knowledge is needed. Just a willingness to experiment and have fun!

What to bring

Wear clothes that you don't mind getting a bit dirty. Acrylic paint is washable but it can sometimes stain.
