Event description

Description

Join us for a FREE workshop to help you identify and manage weeds in your neighbourhood. Bush regenerators from Trees in Newcastle, and members of the local Landcare Group will guide you along a short section of the Great North Walk between Milson St and Guna St, Charlestown. You will see various important weeds in different settings and note the improvement after Landcare management. We will have a 'classroom' session discussing identification and management of priority weeds. You will be provided with teaching materials and afternoon tea. You will leave with increased knowledge and skills about weed management. Limited numbers so booking is ESSENTIAL.
