Event description

Description

Join NatureWatch and Wombat Forestcare to celebrate five years!

Since 2012, we've been working together to carry out our wildlife monitoring projects in Wombat State Forest.

The Victorian National Parks Association and Wombat Forestcare are looking forward to sharing our project findings with you.

Join us for an afternoon of presentations about our NatureWatch 'Caught on Camera' project, where we're looking at the response of small mammals to fire, and Wombat Forestcare's project, where they've documented several exciting species - in some cases the first record for many years.

Expect lots of photos of cute critters!

Where: Trentham Neighbourhood Centre, Trentham.
When: Saturday 11 November 2017, 1.30pm-3.30pm.
Contact: Christine Connelly, NatureWatch Coordinator via naturewatch@vnpa.org.au or phone the VNPA office on 03 9341 6500.

We're excited to see old friends and new - we welcome all who have contributed to the project over the years, as well as new-comers who'd like to learn more.

This is a free event and refreshments will be provided by the VNPA. Registration is required.
