Event description

Description

The Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society (Latrobe University) and The Social Studies in Addiction Concepts (Curtin University) invite you to attend a full day forum exploring the issues of Performance and Image Enhancing Drug (PIED) use, injecting, the law, health and the fitness industry.

This forum has been developed in response to the rise of performance and image enhancing drug (PIED) injecting in Australia. It brings together researchers, health and community services and the fitness industry to explore some of the challenges, complexities and opportunities to the delivery of health information and healthcare to people who inject performance enhancing drugs in a range of settings and contexts.

This a free event, with lunch and afternoon tea provided. Please notify Emily Lenton if you have any dietary requirements (aside from vegetarian).
