Let's take that first step into the wonderful world of classical music with Music for Canberra's String Streams and Children's Choir!
About this event
Welcome friends and family to the First Steps concert performed by Music for Canberra's Camerata, Sinfonietta, String Ensemble and Peg Mantle Strings joined by the Canberra Children’s Choir led by Tobias Cole.
This journey takes us from Beethoven’s Ninth to the big screen with Forrest Gump, from a jolly jig to a monster under the bed – this adventurous program is bringing fun to the Albert Hall.
From the Canberra Children’s Choir led by acclaimed conductor and singer Tobias Cole, we’ll be hearing a vibrant performance with gospel, a Japanese tune, and a work written by Australian Indigenous composer Chris Sainsbury.
So join us on Saturday, April 2nd for an autumnal afternoon of music and celebration!
