Event description

Description

First Nations people have been in business for over 60,000 years. Far from being a simple hunter-gatherer society, First Nations people had a sophisticated trading system across this continent and internationally. What they didn’t have was a monetary system.

First Australians Capital’s (FAC) mission is to help Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander entrepreneurs bring tens of thousands of years of social, cultural and environmental business to the modern marketplace.

Join us at this AMP Foundation event to celebrate First Australians Capital’s progress and plans for 2018, and hear FAC leaders Jocelyn King and Adrian Appo speak about Australia’s rich Indigenous business history – and the 21st century entrepreneurs upholding this long tradition of trade and enterprise.
