Event description

Description

What's better than sitting by the fire and enjoying some hot food and drink? Doing all of that and learning about the ongoing astronomical traditions of Australia's Indigenous peoples. Join deadly Gamilaroi astronomy student Peter Swanton for a lesson on Indigenous astronomy, light refreshment of damper and tea/hot chocolate and a seat by the fire.

The Forestry Fire Pit is located between the Fenner School and R.N. Robertson (Building 46). The closest parking (including accessible parking spaces) is in the parking lot on Sullivan's Creek Road heading towards Daley Road.

If you have any accessibility requirements/concerns or other questions regarding the event, please don't hesitate to contact ANUSA Indigenous Department at sa.indigenous@anu.edu.au
