The idea of running the fire preparedness days come from a group called ‘Firefoxes’ which was a group established by women from Kinglake.
About this Event
The CFA will be supporting the series of these events being held across the Upper Murray.
Sessions include covers:
- Family and pet emergency kit
- Property preparation
- Seasonal Outlook, understanding fire, and knowing your risk
- Communications – UHF radios and phone trees
- Water sources and mechanical equipment, including generators
- Fire season preparation information will also be available from the Red Cross.
