Fire management: Risk and Reward guided-walk
Event Information
About this Event
Come for a guided walk and learn about fire management within our national parks. Staff from our Fire Management team will lead you on a 2.5km guided walk starting and finishing at Mount Lofty Summit showcasing some of the stunning landscapes of Cleland Conservation Park in relation to the prescribed burning undertaken by the Department for Environment and Water. They'll discuss why we conduct prescribed burns; look at how plants respond to fire; and gain an understanding of how fire benefits the landscape.
