Event description

Description

Are you a private landholder in the City of Logan and want to better understand risks posed by fire and how to manage those risks?

Then come join us for a free Fire Management Information session where representatives from South East Queensland Fire and Biodiversity Consortium (SEQFBC), Logan City Council, Queensland Fire and Emergency Services and Rural Fire Service Queensland, Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service and the Department of Defence will share information about their roles and offer advice about being prepared for bushfire, local laws and fire, vegetation management, and the conservation of plants and animals.

Food: A light BBQ will be provided.

If you want a personalised fire management plan for your property then come along the following week to the Fire Management Workshop where you will receive free advice, tools and a tailored property fire management plan.

Please note: If you want to participant in the free Fire Management Property Workshop (16 February 2019), it is mandatory to attend this Fire Management Information Night event.
