Finding Success in Creativity
Wed. 26 April 2017, 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm AEST
In support of The Hunger Project Australia, join us at this exclusive one-on-one session with Australian born fashion designer, Megan Park, as she shares her 20-year story about turning her creativity and love of the artisanal into a successful brand celebrating women and timeless beauty.
Established in London in 1997, MEGAN PARK has been featured in Vogue, stocked in Barney’s New York, Neiman Marcus, Harvey Nichols, Joyce Hong Kong and Liberty. Since returning to her hometown of Melbourne 10 years ago, Megan has continued to expand her label into the landscape of retail – both bricks and mortar and online whilst still maintaining some of the most exclusive stockists worldwide.
In a world where the demands on women are increasing exponentially, Megan’s story reminds us of how, with a quiet strength, we can find balance and success in creativity.
Emcee for the evening will be Director of Communications for startup Rome2rio, Kirsteene Phelan.
Guests will receive a glass of wine, goody bag and entry into a $500 door raffle prize presented at the end of the evening.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to The Hunger Project Australia.
