About this Event

To mark the international launch of Leif Cocks' third highly anticipated book, Finding Our Humanity The Orangutan Project are holding a special event at the Fitzroy Town Hall!

This all-vegan event includes a special set by ARIA-nominated blues singer Andy Cowan, a presentation by world-renowned orangutan expert Leif Cocks and a thought-provoking Q&A panel with Sean Willmore, founder of the Thin Green Line, Lorinda Jane, founder of Palm Oil Investigations and Leif Cocks, founder and president of The Orangutan Project, International Elephant Project and International Tiger Project. If you've ever wanted to ask tough questions on big-picture wildlife conservation - this is your chance!

The event also includes a silent auction consisting of wildlife rarities, sought-after experiences and original artwork, with all proceeds funding the critically imperative work of The Orangutan Project.

For over three decades conservationist Leif Cocks has worked tirelessly to ensure the survival of orangutans in the wild. Author of the Amazon best selling book Orangutans: My Cousins, My Friends, Leif is founder and president of world-renowned charity The Orangutan Project, and president of International Elephant Project and International Tiger Project . Leif is an outspoken advocate for both wildlife and vulnerable communities and is recognised globally as an expert in his field.
