Event description

Description

We've all been told people are more likely to survive cancer if it's found early. But how?

In this information session with Cancer Council, will provides important information to help you identify potential early symptoms of the 5 most common cancers: bowel, breast, lung, prostate and skin cancer, and what you should do if you find them.

The Find Cancer Early campaign aims to increase awareness of the early signs and symptoms of bowel, breast, lung, prostate and skin cancer in people aged over 40 years living in regional Western Australia. The campaign encourages people to find cancer early and tell their doctor or health worker without delay. As well as increasing symptom awareness, the campaign aims to break down some of the barriers and myths to seeking help.
