Description

About the forum

This forum is presented by NSW Financial Inclusion Network, in partnership with Northern Rivers Community Gateway and Centre for Social Impact.

We invite you to help expand the conversation around financial resilience. Join us at UNSW City Campus for a deep dive into social capital and economic resources – two key building blocks of financial resilience.

To help us navigate these topics, our guest speakers include:

  • Dr Archana Voola - Centre for Social Impact (UNSW Business School)

  • Phil Usher - First Nations Foundation

  • Rebecca Pinkstone - Bridge Housing

  • Joanna Quilty - NCOSS

  • Elizabeth Anderson - NAB

  • Andrea Comastri - Payce Foundation

  • Margot Politis - Milk Crate Theatre

In addition to our guest speakers, the forum will deliver two dedicated workshops about social capital and economic resources. These workshops aim to extend our knowledge and understanding of financial exclusion, identify innovative solutions and discuss how these solutions can be applied as a cross-sector approach.

This is also a great opportunity to meet, connect and reconnect with the people invested in a future of financial inclusion and resilience. We will strengthen our own connections, share stories, experiences and best practices.

Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided.

This forum is a prelude to the fourth Financial Inclusion Conference in 2020, also facilitated by NSW Financial Inclusion Network in partnership with Northern Rivers Community Gateway and Centre for Social Impact.
