Financial Conversations 101
Overview
Do you work in a client facing role in a community sector organisation in NSW? Then this session is for you!
You may have superpowers in casework, housing, mental health or disability support etc but struggle to start a conversation about financial hardship. That's because it's a difficult conversation to have and no one willingly likes to talk about their money!
This 1.5 hour workshop is designed to offer comprehensive & relevant training for people in a client facing role. It will offer you the insights to constructive questions, active listening techniques & practice tools to support you to have constructive, empathetic & engaging questions to ask your clients about their money management.
The best thing is that it's FREE. There is no charge to attend this training. All sessions will be conducted via Zoom.
When: Wednesday 18th Feb, 2.30pm to 4.00pm.
Once you've registered, we will send you an Outlook invite with a Zoom link a few days before the training. Please block this time out in your diary!
Your trainer is Kathy Nemeth who has worked throughout her career in the community sector, including 18 years in financial inclusion supporting clients, workers and community organisations to deliver professional & informed practice.
Here's a quote from one of our recent participants: "It was very interesting and informative. It provided me with guidance in supporting client's financial situations and it also provided an opportunity for me to reflect on my own financial values and practices. The facilitator was engaging and spoke with lots of passion and knowledge."
