In this workshop Martin will address the importance of Finances and Revenue in particular the issue of raising funds to get into business and also the importance of having sufficient funds to stay in business. Covers the basics of Profit and Loss, Cash Flows, Valuation and potential sources of funding.


About the Speaker:

Martin Groen is a lecturer at the International College of Management Sydney delivering courses in New Enterprise Creation and Strategic Management and is passionate about motivating and mentoring aspiring entrepreneurs to achieve their vision.

As an entrepreneur and business manager with multi-disciplinary expertise, including senior management and company director experience in both corporate and entrepreneurial organisations and with extensive industry connections, Martin has facilitated numerous internships and start-up support for aspiring entrepreneurs.

He has extensive entrepreneurship experience from starting his own businesses in the food service sector to providing advisory services to other entrepreneurs. Martin is currently establishing a consumer product start-up in the international beverage sector.

He holds an MBA from AGSM and is currently a PhD candidate at The University of Queensland.
