MADE FOR 2019 & 2020 CANDIDATES: This event is the ultimate free workshop designed to help 2019 UCAT candidates complete a final review before test day, on top of jumpstarting the preparation journey of students sitting UCAT in 2020 and beyond!

Part One: 2-HR UCAT EXAM REVIEW (FOR 2019 & 2020+ CANDIDATES)

As this is the first year the UCAT is being held in New Zealand, iCanMed is making sure that everyone receives the insight required to solve all UCAT question types correctly and quickly on the big day. The exam review will also offer students guidance on required preparation for the remaining weeks leading up to the test. A strictly FIRST-IN, FIRST-SERVED basis applies for attendees.

Coverage:

• You will receive and complete a timed mini-mock test containing all prominent UCAT question types found in the most recent UKCAT exams.
• You will be taught the specific line-by-line working behind how to solve every question to ensure accuracy on test day.
• Feedback will be given to highlight the most significant mistakes students frequently make, which lead to slower completion times and solving errors.
• Additional advice regarding test-taking methods will be revealed.

Part Two: 1-HR 2020 MEDICINE/DENTISTRY ENTRANCE GUIDE FOR ACING THE UCAT, INTERVIEW & VOLUNTARY WORK (FOR 2020+ CANDIDATES)

If you are looking to sit the UCAT in 2020 or later and want to beat the competition, then this extra hour is for you. We will be introducing:

• A timeline behind your UCAT preparation so that you can COMPLETE it before the beginning of the 2020 academic year.
• The in's and out's of the medical interview from the perspective of medical school interviewers, preparation requirements, exemplar questions with answers, and the most common mistakes that people make on the big day.
• An investigation into the purpose of medical applications and the importance of voluntary work.
• If you are dead serious about gaining entrance into medicine or dentistry in 2021, this is the workshop that will kickstart your success.
