Event description

Description

Please join us at our Adelaide studio in paying attention to the shifts that are occurring on Country – shifts driven by the contemporary phenomena of climate change, cultural migration and perceptions of place – and discussing ways we might confront and operate within them.

Speakers:

Stephen Muecke

He has a long record of work with Indigenous people (a new edition of Paddy Roe’s Gularabulu: Stories from the West Kimberley appeared with UWA Publishing, 2016), and current research involves ethnographic documentation of Goolarabooloo county north of Broome, WA, using a ‘multirealist’ approach. He is currently Jury Chair of English Language and Literature at the University of Adelaide and a Fellow of the Australian Academy of the Humanities.
