About this event

Spread the festive cheer this holiday season by making your own decorations, cards and wrapping paper. Whether you’re shopping for that hard-to-buy-for aunt or looking for the finishing touch for your Christmas tree, our festive craft workshops will add extra sparkle to your gift-giving this year.

Unwind with a drink (or a cheese box) in the beautiful surroundings of State Library Victoria and join us for an array of joyful craft activities led by talented local artisans and specialists, including:

• Pompom tree decorations with The Studio Workshops

• Festive pop-up cards and paper stars with Paperazzi

• Gift wrapping paper creations with Rachel Gyan

• Gift tag creating

When you’ve finished crafting, wander through our Handmade Universe exhibition, stay for a beverage from the bar or check out Readings for more gifting ideas.

Please note: cheese boxes will be available to pre-purchase with your ticket but will not be available to purchase on the night.
