About this event

The Ferntree Gully Laughter Club has been going for 16 years and is a free community Laughter Yoga club. The laughter club movement founder, Dr Kataria encourages them to be voluntary and help in promoting world peace through the power of laughing together. We practice Laughter Yoga, which is laughter exercises combined with deep breathing.

We laugh and do a lot of singing, usually using ha ha language, instead of words, as words engage the side of the brain which is more lateral, less spontaneous. This creates new brain neurons (Neuroplasticity).

It is very spontaneous and we would love you to join us on a regular basis.

Why not try it out and see how you feel? You may feel quite uncomfortable to begin with and then people usually relax right into the laughter exercises.

We do not as a rule make it live on Facebook, it is quite safe and an internal zoom class.

My husband John joins me in leading the laughter session, and other laughter leaders from around the world share their laughs too, when they pop in for a laugh together.

Book yourself in. Hoo roo. Lots of love, Lynette.

I facilitate Self Mastery classes, run a laughter club and bring Laughter Yoga to clients. I am a life coach, holistic living counsellor and incorporate these into my work. I believe in giving back to the community and run both self mastery and laughter club classes and sessions free of charge. I invite you to join me and feel how the self mastery class may assist you in your life to feel greater self worth and involvement in all that you do.
