Learn the art of fermentation & how easy it is to make a range of delicious energising functional ferments in your own home. GUT GURU Tracy Lansdell from Green Tree Naturopathy will empower us to help heal our 'second brain' with nourishing fresh foods & drinks that contain beneficial nutrients, enzymes & acids to improve digestion, increase energy and boost immunity.

Choose from these 3 workshops:


2. Afternoon: KOMBUCHA CLASS

3. All day: FERMENTING MASTERCLASS: a fun-filled Saturday, including all of the above!

Whichever workshop you select, you'll receive:

  • A nourishing ferment to take home

  • Step by Step instructions & hands-on experience of fermenting

  • Taste testing of a variety of fermented food & drink blends

  • Informative handouts & the confidence to make successful ferments at home

  • An enhanced appreciation for the role that probiotic foods & drinks play in maintaining a healthy lifestyle


Tracy is a Naturopath with over 20 years experience in natural health and medicine. She runs regular fermenting and gut health workshops and her clinic has a strong focus on improving the gut function and microbiome health of her clients. www.greentreenaturopathy.com.au


9.45 morning registration & complimentary cup of tea

10am - 12pm Gut Health and Lacto-fermentation Workshop

Tracy will discuss in detail how good gut health and a balanced microbiome are vital for your overall physical and emotional health & wellbeing. And what we can do to support this.

Then we'll learn how to make fabulous lacto-fermented foods and drinks for our families with;

  • A hands-on session making your own 1 litre jar of sauerkraut to take home

  • Tasting & demonstrations of how to make divine cultured vegetables (the kids will love them)

  • Tasting & demonstration of how to make beet kvass 'purple champagne'!

Includes jars, ingredients and samples to taste of each, plus a comprehensive booklet with all the recipes and instructions to take home.

12pm - 12.30 Lunch - bring a share plate

12.45 afternoon registration & complimentary cup of tea

1.00 - 2.30pm Kombucha Workshop

Originating in China, Kombucha has been used for thousands of years as a health tonic. Tracy will share years of experience & experiments in brewing fizzy, delicious Kombucha.

We'll enjoy tasting some samples & learn tips & tricks to incorporate natural flavours from our own gardens. All elements of Kombucha making will be discussed in detail, from first brew to second fermentation & scoby hotels.

Each participant will receive a SCOBY and starter liquid to take home to begin brewing. Plus a booklet filled with information and recipes.


Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, we aim to minimise paper! We will register you at the door.

What should I bring?

Please dress warmly & bring your water bottle, pen & notepad. If you're doing the morning GUT HEALTH & LACTO-FERMENTATION WORKSHOP please bring a sharp knife too. And a share plate for lunch if you'd like to join us!

What's the refund policy?

Unfortunately tickets are non-refundable but they can be transferred to your friend/neighbour/colleague/family member if you later find you can't attend. Please let us know the name of the person attending in your place.
