Event description

Description

This night we focus on the ways we feed our babies. We will cover preparing for and support breastfeeding, milk delays, and low supply, supplementing and expressing, and other ways to feed a baby beside breast and bottle. Think of it as feeding your baby 101.

Special guest speaker Cara Suttner IBCLC lactation consultant from Bondi Breastfeeding will join us.

Hey pregnant mum,

Are you looking to connect with other women and build your community around you?

Are you seeking information, guidance, and evidence that you can access as you need it, in a supportive and non-judgmental way?

Are you looking for real life, honest and down to earth information and advice?

You have a space that's safe and welcoming to come to each month where you can think about and discuss your personal needs and how to set yourself up for the best possible experience. Check in with women who are open to the kinds of deeply satisfying and honest conversations we need in pregnancy - packed with compassion, humour, and community.

Additionally, the uniqueness of this space is that the topics are adapted to the needs of everyone present. You have time to ask questions, clarify and follow up with anything that is important to you.

Your ticket each month includes:

2 hours+ of engaging antenatal education and connection

Access to the Circles of Women library ($30 fully refundable deposit). Each month a selection of highly recommended books on a range of topics are brought to the group. Take and exchange a book to borrow for the month.

Phone & email support for the month following the event.

This is a very relaxed, informal group, questions and comments are encouraged. New mums who share the stories of their pregnancy, birth and experience with their newborn baby are given guidance and directed questions to help them focus on sharing the practical and useful insights and descriptions you are looking for. The focus is on "how can this information help you have a more informed birth".

There are amazing benefits for women who are able to attend regular monthly circles: Build friendships with other expecting mums and create a supportive community that you can draw on after birth.Hear a range of positive birth stories that give you a deeper more tangible sense of what to expect in labour, birth and early parenting Benefit from discussing and exploring all 6 topics. each month has a unique focus that individually is complete and informative, although attending more circles together they will give you really comprehensive childbirth and parenting education.
