Date and time
Location
Federal Hall
Jasper Corner Albert Street Federal, NSW 2480 AustraliaDescription
The inaugural Federal Writers Festival will feature 25 writers from all over the Asia Pacific region and beyond. This is a free festival for locals and visitors to enjoy a day of literary discussion on a wide range of issues. We are hosting writers, poets and literary commentators from India, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Indonesia, Hong Kong, the US as well as local and Indigenous Australian writers and poets. Our venue is a community hall with limited seating so we require bookings to gauge numbers. There will be hourly panels from 9am to 7pm with a break for lunch and sandwiches and wraps will be for sale, plus a licensed bar, tea and coffee. At the end of the day, we welcome patrons to stay for dinner and mingle with writers. Dinner will be available from pizza and Asian cuisine carts.
