Description

Join us as we bring together researchers in the Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment keen to hear about current initiatives within the Faculty and the University related to Women researchers in STEMM. We are inviting researchers across career stages ranging from HDR students through to the professoriate. The event will include several short talks with Q&A time plus an morning tea time for discussion. Our goal is to raise awareness and to garner ideas.

Schedule:

9.30 - 9.45 am - Introduction to HunterWiSE (Stephanie Reed, HunterWiSE Project Officer)

9.45 - 10.00 am - Faculty Perspective for Gender Equity (Ruth Pring, Faculty Executive Officer)

10.00 - 10.15 am - Update and Comments (ADR Prof Stephen Fityus, Assistant Dean Research)

10.15 - 10.45 am - Morning Tea

10.45 - 11.00 am - Science in Australia Gender Equity (SAGE) Update (Dr Karen Blackmore, SAGE Pilot Self-Assessment team member)
