Event description
Meet new people as we make you a special menu of questions. This Christmas-themed social event is open to one and all.

About this Event

What if a conversation with a new person was more than just small talk? What if you had the opportunity to have a meaningful exchange with a stranger and spark a new friendship, new ideas, and new outlooks on life? Would you take it?

ANU Thrive, Batyr and Kambri at ANU invite you to come join us at the Feast of Strangers!

The events pair two strangers together for sincere, rewarding exchanges that probe beyond small talk. You are each given a 'Menu of Conversation' but instead of descriptions of food dishes, each heading contains topics to talk about. A ‘Muse’ then introduces the meal and explains how the evening will work, which can take about two hours. This year we are hosting a Christmas themed Feast of Stranger.

We invite you to step outside your comfort zone and be open to not only learning more about another person but also about yourself. This is, in many ways, what life is all about! We encourage you to bring your friends along but know that you won't be eating with them, you will be paired with someone you have never met! Bring out the Christmas spirit and celebrate the beginning of holiday season with this event.
