4.50pm: About the Cawthron Institute

Augusta will provide a brief overview of how the Cawthron Institute can support product development including shelf life trials and nutritional labelling analyses. Cawthron works closely with new product development NPD teams and independent food consultants in the region- an excellent source of information if you are seeking external support for different parts of the NPD process.

5.05pm: Hear from FoodSouth

FoodSouth is the South Island hub of New Zealand Food Innovation Network. The New Zealand Food Innovation Network supports food and beverage companies to grow from start-up to export via added value innovation.This is done via R&D, NPD prototyping, capability building workshops and collaborating with other service providers. FoodSouth offers access to pilot plant infrastructure to facilitate the development of new products for market validation.
