Farmgate Sundays at Acre of Roses - Trentham

About this Event

Escape to the country on Sundays this Summer/Autumn at Acre of Roses. Take home bee-friendly flower pickings, enjoy local gourmet refreshments and learn about sustainable horticulture.

About Acre of Roses

Acre of Roses is a working micro-flower farm of more than 1500 heritage rose bushes, a luxury wellness accommodation, and an event venue nestled in the regional village of Trentham, just an hour from Melbourne.

Featured in multiple publications including Country Style and Green Magazine, and named 1 of 52 Best Weekends away in Australia 2019, consider Acre of Roses your restorative sanctuary for a country escape, romantic getaway, or girls' retreat - all centred around indulging each of your senses.

About Farmgate Sundays

Acre of Roses opens its gates to lovers of slow flowers, horticulture, and good old fashioned country afternoons, for a flower farm experience like no other and is one of 13 Slow Flower Farmers who form the Daylesford Macedon Flower Farm Trail brought to you by Consortium Botanicus.

On specific Sundays in February and March of 2020 from 2pm to 5pm, enjoy local gourmet produce, soak up the heady smell as you wander through more than 1500 organically and sustainable grown heritage rose bushes, take the opportunity to pick-your-own, or choose from a curated selection at the Rose Bar, AND take in an educational session centred around one aspect of sustainable horticulture so that you can go home with newly gained insights into this way of life:
