About this event
Farm to Garment Craft Workshops
The Collingwood Branch of the Country Women’s Association of Victoria Inc will be hosting a series of workshops focused on wool craft: knitting and crochet. The series was borne out of desire to escape the city during the pandemic which was impossible when Melbourne was in lockdown.
The Collingwood Children’s Farm is hosting the series with instruction provided by the Hand Weavers and Spinners Guild of Victoria, a local craft guild with overlapping interests with the CWA. The workshops will be free for residents of the City of Yarra aged 18+.
Four workshops, free for residents of the City of Yarra (18+), will take place in the old Farmhouse at No. 18 St Heliers St, on your left before you enter the Farm.
Saturday 26 March - Knitting
Saturday 28 May - Crochet
Saturday 30 July - Knitting
Saturday 1 October - Crochet
The Collingwood Branch of the Country Women’s Association of Victoria Inc thanks the City of Yarra for its generous funding of this project.
