An interactive field day for existing and new landholders considering farm forestry.

About this Event

Recently bought land? Do you have land but don't know what to do with it? Would you like to integrate trees into your rural landscape for biodiversity, conservation, carbon capture, better soils and profit?

Tour an established cabinet timber plantation, see a milling demonstration, solar drying kilns and hear from experts in the field.

Forestry on farms is a regenerative agriculture activity which can produce income while storing carbon in soils, providing erosion control, habitat, nutrient cycling, biodiversity, moisture retention in your catchments whilst providing a beautiful farm landscape.

Presented by Brunswick Valley Landcare's Farming into the Future in association with Lune de Sang Silviculture.
