About this event
Far South Tasmania Inc. presents:
A four course meal showcasing local produce from local producers and featuring seafood:
- Surges Bay Orchard
- Rocket at the End of the Road
- Bakehouse Distillery
- Jing's Kitchen
Enjoy your meal in the fabulous rural setting of the Southport Community Centre surrounded by natural bush. This feast is about seafood and the menu includes oysters, scallops, salt & pepper squid, salmon as well as locally grown fresh veg.
Live music by Blue Chilli, playing a variety of quirky swing, gypsy songs, cool jazz and evocative originals.
We are excited to be collaborating with local ceramists Jane Thiele and Andrew Halford. The handcrafted bowls will be available for purchase after the feast.

$48 per person (plus booking fees), includes two locally made drinks

Important Info: This event starts at 6 pm for guests wishing to experience Project X: Hrafn Conversations with Odin at Hastings Caves State Reserve. Stay a night in the region and get free tickets to Hrafn. More information HERE. And for accommodation providers and other activities in the Far South click HERE. Hrafn tickets are not included in this. You will need to book your Hrafn tickets separately.
Hrafn guests: Enjoy your first courses at the feast, then head to Hastings Caves State Reserve for the Hrafn performance and be back in time to join in for more amazing food.
All other guests, please arrive at 7.15 pm thank you.
This is an outdoor event, weather permitting. Please dress accordingly. In the event of bad weather, the feast will be held inside . The organiser reserves the right to make that decision on the day.
