Overlooking the new Eumundi Brewery, we invite you to hear from HR expert Claire Harrison on Leadership, Culture & Communication in the workplace.

Founder & Managing Director of Harrison Human Resources, Claire has developed the ‘Best Workplace Method’ based on research of hundreds of CEOs and business owners. It addresses common workforce problems by creating great places to work with high performance teams that result in highly successful businesses

Claire will explain the Best Workplace Method, provide examples, and outline practical steps you can take to improve employee productivity, specifically looking at:

  • Your role as the Leader

  • Building your ideal organisational Culture

  • Improving internal communication

  • Developing high performance team


Kris McCue from Stones Throw Group will also be presenting on The Sweetest Job Program, a FAN supported initiative that assists Sunshine Coast & Moreton Bay locals find work experience to develop skills and knowledge to enhance their employment prospects in the food & agribusiness sector.

Hear from Head Brewer Chris Sheehan on the history of the Eumundi Brewery and learn about what went into the creation of the new Pacific Ale and Eumundi Lager whilst enjoying a cold one yourself!

About Claire Harrison


Claire Harrison is the Founder and Managing Director of Harrison Human Resources, a flourishing HR consulting business that sprouted in 2009 from Claire’s passionate belief that inspiring leaders and superstar employees are the key success factor to any business.

With over 20 years’ experience, Claire has worked as a HR Director of multi-national organisations, as a Non-Executive Board Director, and a small business owner. This experience is coupled with her tertiary qualifications in accounting, management and law.

Claire’s food industry experience includes as General Manager HR at Fonterra, as well as locals Country Chef and Epicurean Products.



About Kris McCue & The Sweetest Job


Kris McCue, FAIM, is Managing Director of Stones Throw Group. For over 15 years Kris has worked across the private, public and community sectors in the areas of management, business and workforce development, labour market intervention, economic development, strategy and policy and stakeholder engagement.

The Sweetest Job - Industry Workforce Development Initiative

The Sweetest Job project, delivered by Regional Development Australia Moreton Bay in partnership with Stones Throw, aims to provide the Food and Agribusiness Industry with skilled workers and assist in meeting workforce demand. In 2016 the Sweetest Job campaign targeted the Strawberry industry and helped over 150 local people gain seasonal jobs on farms throughout the Sunshine Coast and Moreton Bay.

The current Sweetest Job project, funded by the Qld Government under the Skilling Queenslanders for Work initiative, provides people looking for work with training, skills and work experience in horticulture, basic food processing and logistics. Kris will be talking about how local businesses can get involved and utilise the Sweetest Job as a recruitment channel that also delivers value-added benefits and incentives.
