Family Walk in the Wetlands

About this event
Bookings essential. Enjoy a safe and gentle guided walk in the beautiful Boondall Wetlands Reserve led by one of the knowledgeable Volunteer Guides. Learn about the unique plants and animals of the wetlands on this easy, all abilities 2km walk. Participants can visit the Bird Hide, observe distinct changes in vegetation, and discover why Boondall Wetlands is an internationally important conservation area.
Bookings: Bookings required via Eventbrite. All adults and children (including infants) must be booked in as participants.
Cancellations: If you are unable to attend, please cancel your bookings online via Eventbrite.
Age: Suitable for ages 5+
Cost: Free.
Requirements: All children must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear a wide-brimmed hat, secure and fully enclosed walking shoes, sun-smart clothing, sunscreen and insect repellent. Please bring drinking water and a snack or picnic lunch as there are no food outlets on site.
Note: Walks are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.
