Have you always wondered about your origins and how to get started on your family tree? Our resident expert, Sue will get you started.

About this event

Perhaps you received a DNA test or your grandchildren are asking questions about your life as a child.

Join Sue in planning your family history journey: where to find information at home, how to organize the information you find and where you can go to next.

Bring your laptop and a USB if you have one or borrow a laptop from the library for the session.

Sue will share a powerpoint for about half an hour, then it will be time for Q&A and getting on with some practical activities.

As this program is currently modified to meet public gathering restrictions, we have limited spaces available.

We ask that you please register here, or call your local library if you need help making a booking. If you are no longer able to make an event, please let us know so that others don’t miss out.

To help us deliver a successful program please...

• Register all participants on Eventbrite as we can’t allow walk-ins.

• Follow Physical distancing requirements. Please assist children with this.

• Practice good hygiene. We will provide hand sanitiser for you.

• Check in via the Check In Tas app.

• Wear a mask.

• Do not visit the library if you’re unwell.

Thanks for your help. We look forward to seeing you.
