Family Fun Day - In the Park!

A free day of fun for everyone!

Even better - the first 50 kids to say "hello" to Mr Whippy will receive a FREE ice-cream!

Join library staff and guests in the Park (next to Bunbury Library, Parkfield Street) for a fun-filled day of outdoor games, activities, competitions and more. There is something for everyone!

Meet the ‘Bunbury Fire Brigade ’ and learn all there is to know about their fire truck, test out your skills in our Nerf Target Range or challenge the South West Sports Centre crew in their obstacle course! Get a selfie with the museum or get busy with Bunnings!

Hop along in a sack race, join in on the egg and spoon races or take a break in the Libraries ‘Chill Out Zone’. Create your own monster bubbles or challenge a family member to a game of giant Jenga or Tug of War!

Best of all, join in on the water activities and games at this years Family Fun Day. Don't forget to bring a towel and slip-slop-slap!

When it's time for a rest - grab yourself a sausage sizzle or cold drink from the Lions Club Van or head on over to the Senior Citizens Café for hot chips, sandwiches tea or coffee.

There is plenty to see and even more to do at Bunbury Public Libraries Family Fun Day.

* Bookings are not required.

* Open to all ages and abilities - everyone is welcome.

* Attendees are encouraged to 'Slip, Slop, Slap' and wear protective sun clothing.

* Free drinking water is available via the water station in the Park.

* Guests: Bunbury Fire Brigade, South West Sports Centre, Bunnings Bunbury, Bunbury Museum & Heritage Centre, Carey Park Scouts, Mr Whippy (Griffo's), Lions Club (Eaton), Bunbury Geograph Seniors & Community Café

* Food and drinks are available for purchase via: Lions Club Eaton (sausage sizzle and cold drinks), Bunbury Geograph Seniors & Community Café (hot chips, sandwich's, tea/coffee) and Mr Whippy (ice-cream). Free drinking water will be available.

* Children's water & activity play will be turned on/off periodically throughout the event. Other activities will continue to run during water play sessions for those who do not wish to participate in water play.
