Event Information
About this Event
Now more than ever, many of us are looking for ways to reduce living expenses and make our family budget go further. At the same time, we want to reduce plastic use in our lives and be part of the solution to plastic pollution.
In this workshop, participants will learn how to make family dishes on a budget whilst avoiding the use of plastic bags, cling wrap and other single-use plastics.
Guided by the principles of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, you’ll learn how to make cost effective family meals without using single-use plastic.
After attending this workshop, participants will:
• Take home great recipes for family dishes on a budget
• Create less plastic and food waste
• Save money
• Know how to recycle soft plastic via the REDCycle program
