Facilitation and Presenting Skills - Brisbane
Thursday, 24 November 2016 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (AEST)
What’s it all about?
This one day experiential workshop will introduce you to the art of facilitating groups and presenting. Facilitating groups and presenting is a dance, and one that requires maintaining a balance between process and content, the task and function of the group and also the building of rapport and relationships. The workshop will provide you with a common language on how best to influence, inform and inspire while helping any group move toward their specified goals or outcomes.
Your role, as a facilitator or presenter is to set the scene for the group to maximize their learning potential, build confidence and create common purpose. This workshop will get you started and build your confidence and together we will explore a variety of material including preparation and planning, overcoming nerves, body language and strategies to engage your group.
• Exploring current models of facilitation and presenting
• Preparation and planning
• Gaining awareness of the use of self in the facilitation and presenting role including body language and managing nerves
