Event description
Facebook gets a lot of bad press, but Facebook Ads can be one of the most cost-effective forms of marketing available to small business.

About this Event

Social media usage has grown over the last few months as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic but right now, Facebook advertising revenue is declining as businesses reduce their advertising spend.

What does this mean for you as a business owner? This is the best time EVER for you to use Facebook Ads to grow your business!

Facebook is the most popular social media platform on the planet, with over 2.6 billion monthly active users.

94% of Australians with internet access have a Facebook account, and 60% of those are regular Facebook users.

Whether your goal is brand awareness, lead generation, website traffic or straight sales conversion, Facebook Ads can be a truly effective and inexpensive way to achieve your goal.

In this two-hour online workshop you’ll learn how to choose the right ad objective, create a campaign, set up ad sets and ads, define an effective audience, set budgets and measure results. PLUS you’ll have the opportunity to ask your own specific questions.

Kelly Hody

Kelly has experience in a broad range of roles and industries, having worked for 38 different employers since 1989 (plus another 13 volunteer roles.) She’s worked for large global organisations and small family businesses and has experience with products and services as well as for-profit and not-for-profit organisations.

She spent quite a few years working in sales and key account management, before realising that marketing was her true passion and launching her own marketing consulting business. Digital marketing is her jam but along the way she’s dabbled in product development, branding, copywriting, advertising, market research, events management and communications.

Kelly also has a few pieces of paper with her name on them in fancy gold lettering. She has an MBA specialising in Marketing, a Bachelor of Business (Business Management), a Diploma in Digital Marketing and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

Kelly doesn’t offer one-size-fits-all marketing packages because the businesses she works with tend to be anything but ordinary. But if you’d like to have a chat about working with her, please get in touch. She’d love to talk to you about how she can help your business market more efficiently and effectively.

Kelly also teaches four subjects at WEA Adult Learning:

  • Developing and Launching a New Business
  • Developing a Digital Marketing Plan
  • Connect to Your Customers with Mailchimp
  • Facebook for Advertising

When she’s not working, Kelly loves to be a tourist in her Adelaide hometown and collect new experiences.
