Eye Emergencies in Small Rural Hospitals
Although eye conditions make up a relatively small proportion of emergency presentations, they can be serious. In this session we review eye examination and the common eye-related reasons patients attend small rural hospitals.

- Describe the clinical examination of the eye
- Outline management of a corneal foreign body
- Outline management of a corneal burn
- Describe the causes of an acute red eye
