Extend Career Framework (ECF)

Suitable for: This session is open to all UNSW academic staff, including HDRs and professional and technical staff working in research, and is designed to support an academic career.

Session aim: This session will provide insights and tips on the stories that “The Conversation” editors are seeking, how to pitch an idea that stands out and the style of writing that will work for their diverse audience.

Note: This is a Bring Your Own Device session (BYOD). Please ensure you have enough battery life or bring power cords for your laptops and have internet/browser access to access slides.

To set up browser access before attending the session:
1. Log into UniWide – the UNSW Campus Wireless Network before attending to ensure you have internet access. Steps are available here under “Uniwide Setup

2. If you are using a non-standard University computer and are prompted with a login to access the workspace, please enter ADUNSW\zid + your zpass

3. Ensure your laptop or tablet is fully charged prior to attending, as power outlets are limited.
