Lucas Cullen
Chief Technical Officer and Co-Founder

Everyone seems to be talking about Blockchain. What is it and how will it transform the way we do business?

Lucas is the Chief Technical Officer and Co-Founder of Civic Ledger – and emerging Australian technology company that uses blockchain technologies to transform a wide range of business process challenges faced by public sector clients.

He is a blockchain software engineer and cryptocurrency consultant with extensive experience in the banking industry and regularly contracts to government agencies. Lucas has been developing and building bitcoin and blockchain related services for the past four years both for private businesses and for open source communities.

Lucas is a sitting board member of Blockchain Australia, has been hosting Brisbane Bitcoin and Blockchain Meetup since 2013 and is sought out often by government and industry for technology advice and for public speaking engagements on the subject of bitcoin and blockchain.

 

 

Katrina Donaghy

 

Business Development and Civic Partnerships Lead and Co-Founder

 

Civic Ledger

 

Katrina is the Business Development and Civic Partnerships Lead and Co-Founder of Civic Ledger – an emerging Australian technology company that uses blockchain technologies to transform a wide range of business process challenges faced by public sector clients.

 

She has extensive experience in public policy and early stage commercialisation having worked in both public and not for profit sectors for over 20 years with a specific focus on business development, project management and revenue diversification. 

 

Katrina co-organises the Bitcoin Blockchain Brisbane Meetup in partnership with Lucas Cullen.  Her interest in blockchain technologies is due to its potential for governments to create new markets and economies of the future.
