EXPLORING CONNECTION: to ourselves, each other and the earth
Event Information
About this Event
What does connection actually look like?
Individually and collectively.
What does it mean for you?
Join Bec Knaggs in The Dax Centre studio for a relaxed afternoon of art making, self-care and connection. This experiential workshop is an opportunity to develop & explore our relationship to connection, using art making, healthy self-expression and self-reflection as a tool for ongoing personal mental health and well-being.
Bec Knaggs is a qualified and experienced artist, expressive arts facilitator and art educator. She has been weaving these three disciplines together in diverse community and cultural development and learning environments for more that 20 years. She is currently an education officer at The Dax Centre.
Grounded in a belief that we are all innately creative, no prior art making experience is necessary. All materials will be provided however we ask that you please bring along a small object that for you, represents CONNECTION. Otherwise, all you need to bring is yourself, some comfy clothes you can get messy in and your curiosity!
I look forward to seeing you in the studio!
